Prelims period +/- 2weeks
Ok, so prelims is over, i don't really feel much different, a sign that i haven't really been studying hard enough haha. Exam over i play, before exam also got play abit, so not much diffrent lol. Wa prelims, total ownage man! as in i got owned big time lol, slaughtered ah. Gp was ehh okay, didn't finish compo, didnt do AQ, though it was my fav topic on sports and drugs haha. maths chem and bio is triple kill, 3-0 for the school administraion. Maths well won't talk about it, i practiced lar! but aiya 2 papers only, TYS seems very useless for prelims, probably minus about 50 marks for each paper. The stats was whoa hard haha. Chem er i stopped doing it for holidays, den found that i started forgetting almost everything =( Consistent work is impt man. Bio i studied the hardest lar! first time i finish reading all the chapters haha. But option paper i didnt touch human repro at all, so okay overall not very good, and also very hard. Oh well, like that lor. When will i really really start to be dead serious about studying? One credit left.
Today i would like to talk about the sun and the sea, wind and water, cloud and sky, moon and pluto, mars and snickers. But most importantly here are the topics for today:

2. Kbox is a complete waste of time and money man! i swear i will never go to kbox ever again. Firstly it was damn friggin cold, i was dying lar. Secondly bad idea to go with tchs people and rv people wa lau all sing chinese songs! I listen only like Jaychou this kind, and even so i dont know much lyrics either, and this is further compounded by my lousy standard of chinese cannot read the words. Thirdly wa 10.50 for 3 hours of K box, so waste money! Think of how all the money and energy can be channelled to something better like lan. and yar 3 hours, wth. pay 10.50 for 3 hours of refrigeration and sing only about 1 or 2 songs. Not worth man not worth, haha.
3. Classband was a idea i initiated, but now im starting to think that it isnt really a good idea anymore. I just have a feeling that it wouldn't turn out very good, and got quite alot of problems, like the most common singer crisis. Perhaps it was the place we played at (pam hse), perhaps players not good, perhaps i am biased which i hope i am not. Sounds very different from John and co, but as i said can't say much yet, find a place with better acoustics first. I think they just lack playing experience, maybe quite new to the electric guitar, hence the palpable difference in the music quality. Not a big problem though, everyone starts off the same way anyway. haha. just more practices needed, and constructive rehearsal postmortems should be a part of every session. Probably the main problem would be the amount of time we have. Kinda miss playing with John daniel they all, shit cant remember the last guitarist name, ah and roger. His voice is nice actually, don't think im in a stand to give (constructive) criticisms, i can't sing very well either. Good singers are valuable, i tink they're rarer den good players. It's hard to find people with good voice, pitching blabla, with the right kind of personality that they can hype up the crowd and turn up the atmosphere. Ok lar maybe because i am in HC lol. But aiyar, john they all also like not keen like that, ask them so many times until sian already man. [David][ZH] your band was perfect man, haha. Cant even match y'all in terms of number of ACSians in the first place lol. Weixuan + John Kan = 2. Ah okay at least it was great fun coming up with a band name haha, damn fun coming up with a whole list of corny band names with classmates! Finally we decided, we're now "Broadband". Lol
4. After the physics paper everyone was telling me "eh weixuan there was a question on cycling you know?" haha. Mainly about drafting and recumbent bikes. I always thought of recumbent bikes as leisure bikes, such as the popular Giant Revive series http://www.giant-bicycles.com/international/050.000.000/050.000.000.asp?range=185. But i just did a search and turns out there's another dimension to recumbent bikes. See http://www.recumbent-bikes-truth-for-you.com/low-racer.html. About drafting, front rider breaks the wind, and vortices left behind creat a suction force which sucks in the back rider, allowing him to save on 10-20% of energy depending on the speed and amount of wind resistance. Drafting effects become significant at about 35kmph, which is also when the effects of frame and rim aerodynamics kick in. Drafting is only effective if you are <1m lover ="),"> [edit] shit blogger screwed up, i didnt type any lover crap supposed to just be "less den 1meter". Id try to continue: less then 1 meter behind the other person. It's fun to read about aerodynamic engineering and technology on bikes man, especially the wheels. Zipp wheels actually spin faster when wind hits it at certain angles, and it has some rotational momentum thing and it just keeps spinning, i try before shiok man. haha. And theres some secret to the dimples on the wheels too, but i dont understand how it works. Those in golf balls are more straight forward. Actually everything about tech and materials and physics are fun, but funny i just dont like to study physics lol.. Okay just some cycling trivia haha.. Talking about bikes, jinglin just bought a new bike. haha. Talking about aerodynamics, there was the recent time trial, which i did real bad. Time trials all about power lar, and that i dont have, no time to train either. No tactics to fall back on man. But okay im glad i started with a time trial, got 8/16. Can't beat the regulars man, of which almost all are team riders. Beat two though. haha. The non-regulars can beat. Want to beat regulars require time, and time i dont have. Oh well id give up nat squad for now, clearly too late and no chance. haha. Im gonna buy a bmx! The day im proficient with bmx tricks, i can proudly call myself a hardcore bike lover lol, having mastered the 3 most popular forms of cycling in singapore.
5. Misc. Gonna buy a pair of crystals. They're so nice and lovely and useful. No not talking about the 24carat ones, lol girls will never get it. I'm talking about those that come in 27 or 40 megahertz are about the size your your fingernail and come in 50 different channels for each major frequency. Lost? haha for my RC transmitter lar, i want to play my car, and gah got to paint up my new body shell, troublesome. So many things i want to do man, go play badminton, basketball; squash with chongguang, cycling, play bass. I want to start breakdancing again, but i just tried and found it very hard to start again, too lousy and stiff already. And my right shoulder very easy to dislocate, making it very dangerous. Oh well see how lar, feel like looking up abel to teach me some new stuff some day. Wanna go bowling too man.
Ah yes went shopping recently, few weeks ago bought a pair of khaki corduroy long pants from springfield. One day before bio paper3, another pair of cargo pants, also about same price arnd 30$, and also damn nice! like grey colour, like those random printings, was from Baleno. I think it'd make any form of footwork look nice, haha. So that's my first pair of carduroy, and first pair of pants! 5 pants in total already. Doesnt end there, ahah. today father came back from bangkok again, and bought me another pair of jeans! lolol. kinda off white colour, tight fit, makes me look v tall. haha. So that's 5 + 1 = 6 pairs in total! haha eh rach i Pwnnzz you man! hahaha. Just ordered a pair of team issue Rudy Project shades from ebay, wa damn hot, looking forward for it to arrive man! =)
Okay random insertion but yeah gotta admit i think mayday is quite nice.. lolol. BUT only wen rou and yong bao, haha. Hui lai ba not bad only. Ah just rememberd deng li jun's songs. the bass also quite nice to play one.. hahah. How come no one likes fei yu qing also ah, oldies are nice what no meh? lol. I think media corp damn biased, for english there is gold 90, chinese leh? nothing that plays oldies. Every song has its own set of memories, i think wen rou and yong bao just had theirs written. The tags read: "location: pam's house, characters: huiwen nicholas david, erm, mayday" Not much content yet, and they're far from quarter full yet. got capacity to record all the way till prom, if we do perform that is. haha. Feels nice to listen to a song, and know that it is some(many) of your classmates' favourite songs. Pam just sent a song by switchfoot, "this is your life", that's like sec3/sec4, reminds me of art class especially, haha, and the periods of time when im studying for exam.. man kk shouldnt think, nostalgic lol. I think quite possible to predict what i'm thinking by the songs that i choose to listen to, well, most of the time. haha.
Eh got quite many crushes in school recently, lol. One is an rg girl i took notice since j1. Got talk abit, knew her name too! but err i forgot lol, and we never talked since haha. After that was nothing much, just take notice tts all. Recently while studying with a few classmates, we were creating quite a din, with jokes and stuff, den she looked over and smiled at me! how nice, those kinda subtle smile kind. Nxt day, i was at same place, she came over from the other side to check if there were empty benches, mine only had me, den she went back. Meanwhile some random guy came and sat down opposite me. asdpofijf. She returned with her bag and stuff and saw oh no more space, den went back. haha wa lau, stupid guy. He wasnt even doing much work, do awhile den fall asleep.
Another prominent one is a J1 girl, another game of eye contact haha. Once she was walking pass i just kept observing her, and made sure she noticed it den looked away, after that everytime walk pass can hold eye contact quite long one haha. Very fun to flirt with eye contact, exciting man, haha. But i think quite evil also, kinda misleading lool. If you're reading and feel encouraged to try sure go ahead, but also prone to failures and bad response one ah tell u first haha. Pick target properly lol. Okay lar, i dont think that's a very good habit that i've picked up.
Recently someone floated up into my dreams again lol, same old person, caused me to start thinking about her again. Totally hopeless kind, but oh well, she just fits my idea of the perfect girl, except for the part that says she must like me haha, and some parts of her character. I realized alot of things i do/i am are actually influenced by her man.
Today saw the band girl, she grew her hair longer, looks prettier. lool.
On a lower note, father just got his report, it says his cancer markers have double again, to about 50+, it had reached about 20 just before he gave up chemo. He said cannot tahan chemo so stopped after 4 sessions when recommended is about 6-8. So okay lor like that. New complication is that liver has tumour cells also. so my faith takes a beating again. But i guess being worried is the same as dishonouring what christ has done for me isnt it? So continue bohchap lor. The thing that worries me is am i really placing all my cares upon God, or am i just being indifferent about the situation? Quite hard to diffentiate =S After all this father-son relation is nowhere near stable, thanks to a lousy childhood experience with not very good parenting skills on his part. Ok lar he changed, but my perspectives are taking a veryy long time to reshape. Much better now after praying 4-5yrs ago. I typed this here cos i hope to get you people as my brothers and sisters in christ to pray for us too. Can do that pls?haha. My prayers work too man, 100%. Just perhaps there might be power in numbers? like if two or more shall agree on earth it shall be done kind. Haha, thanks alot mates, but pls note that we do not require any of your sympathy, no problem man.

Made this card for my fathers birthday, very very rare that i make cards for parents, i even make for sailing coach, so parents should deserve it to. A good use of my artistic talents, and im damn proud of it. haha. Didnt have an idea of what to do it just all visualized and materialized as i continued making it. the paper got lines like bambo so i wrote chinese. haha. And i drew a photo of him inside, was jus a random doodle also, which turn out to be very accurate! haha.

Moving the seat forward, a better position for short distanced races. Moving the seat forward changes the angle, more perpendicular, for more power.
