To the classmates and friends that i know who are about to enlist into the glorious army of the republic, this post is a tribute to you all.

Pvt Samuel Tham: yo bro, sorry that we couldnt get to catchup before you go in, but as you said noneed worry lar wont drift one hahah. Been nice knowing u dude, you're a great friend, always there to lend a helping hand or ear. You're studies damn pro, and thanks for helping me with mine too. haha. 4 years in PB, 1 year same class, 6 years same school already. We made it through HC, haha, "it'd be over damn fast", yeah indeed haha. We adapted and survived man, that's quite a feat i think, lol. I'm glad we all escaped that screwy phase of depression. NS, aiyar just go in and have some guy fun.. haha. We can catchup next year also, any weekend u want just come over play halo. See ya arnd in Camp probably haha. The Best is Yet to Be.

Pvt Lin Delin: Yo dude, you no read this for sure, but maybe someday you might stumble upon this, haha. Standard stuff, ive enjoyed knowing you too mate. haha. You're a very nice guy, easy going, and very hardworking. You're easy to communicate with, and yeah you're quite corny and crappy too. haha. Definitely a good friend to have man. Enjoyed the times with u man, even those as CO backstage haha. Hope you enjoyed our company as much as ive enjoyed yours. Now whatever company you go into, stay happy and enjoy life man!

General:

Don't think about what you will leave behind - not much
think about what you will gain inside! - nothing.
NS is actually not that bad, just no computer, no games, no girls, no aircon, crappy food, cut off fr the outside world, no freedom, need to make new friends, sometimes no bathe, jungle no toilet, no toilet paper, cannot wakeup late, less sleep, no handphone usage, no sports, all exercise, no hair, not much privacy. At least there is food, lodging and insects for company.

Enter with pride and feel honoured that you are serving your country. hahaha. miserably small country.

Kidding lar, its compulsory anyway, just go in and have fun mates =) It's true that we'd all have some common experience to talk about. Go in and play guns, we'd all join you someday. haha. Same thing man =)
