Inspira.tions 'V HC str.ings ensemble
Inspirations Five!!! My first ever debut concert!! hahaha...ok simply my debut concert. Well debut concerts only come once in a lifetime, and i guess this was quite a good one =)
tell you some stuff about the concert. we only spent 2 weeks practicing for the concert, cos we only got our scores like 18 days before the concert?? thanks to our super efficient seniors..or should i say our president Mr Jonath.an Low to be specific.. The way he does tings..wa jus so systematic and reasonable and logical..so much so that every j1 is starting to dislike him alot..everyting is like jonathan bla bla bla...jonathan again etc... oh except for one j1 la..goes by the name of Loy Yok.eYuan, why? cos he's trying to suck up to the president, so he can be the next president. he's trying to do so much stuff that he's getting on my nerves. DAMn extra la..ok i wont turn this into a backstabbing session. anyway i practiced hard!! haha like everyday.still got some parts still got problems though...haiz...practiced quite alot on the 'show' part..haha body movement and bowing and stuff...all wat i observed from sso players...paid off man!! haha ppl say i look most pro...wa thats very very encouraging..haha
thanks to all my friends who came down to watch!!! i really really really appreciate it!! =D thanks for all the shouting too...hahaha i can hear!! just that i cant echo-locate your positions la..Among my brothers from acsi davidlee shaunchan zhenghan victorsiek gabrielsim victorsoh chongguang yuanhao samueltham... the rest were like andri.skoh and my current classmates pam.ela ti.mothy berna.rd kimber.le yingying... i got a flower from yingying ( the current one)..a rose!! haha its the first flower ive ever received la..hahha..bernar.d gave me a apple..and a carrot...hahaha...shuhui went down! =) havnet seen her in a long time..she was one of my best frens in pri sch
concerts so fun lor.. esp when the audience cheers for u...aha and esp when u play well..argh it could have been better with more practic.. holbergs suite got one part i just went blur..like huh oh crap wat note is that???? so i just faked... =( wore black shirt with silver tie for first half..second half wanted to look gay so i wore pink shirt..with blu ACSI Prefects tie..hahaha... go www.05s78.blogspot.com and see...hahahaha...
the very next day went to esplanade to watch ACJC's choir concert cos Nadine was performing..wa they really live up to expectations.. Gold with honours standard man..haha..the overall attire and performance etiquette was good. singin was erm no need say. they invited their alumnis back to sing..wa really pro. gave me inspirations to invite hc alumni back to play as well for next year concert..
met alot of ppl.. all the old friends again..haha daniel jonathan tang..jonathan tang (2).. alvin mun.. ashish..wayne ng... jefferson matheus etc etc.. oh after the concert ended i met yingying too!! (scgs version) still looking pretty as ever...u reading this? haha

EDITED : ah counting back dis is erm my..4th performance
1. hc chinese orchestra on chinese new year
2. hc chinese orchestra at singapore poly..its some combined multi-cultural concert like hc co..nj western dance..ac dance..soem malay dance..some phillipino dance some thai dance and wat have u.. we onli played one song
3. hc strings at Ministry of Home Affairs launch of some security thing..wa damn cool! haha we went there in a black police bus..somemore we were all dressed in black..plus my double bass = intimidating..wahah..but go there i couldnt play well la..sight reading pieces like mozart's famous serenade and tony osborne's suite and light - thoroughly modern varnish and groovy strings..

elections are coming up soon..hmm no idea wat to run for man..president sounds super nice..but arh i reallyreally dun feel like doing much stuff...runnin for vice pres den...i stilll have a say in strings affairs.. Section leader i must get man!! MUST get ah! if jo-a.nn becomes sl id quit strings. if i get sl i mus get at least vicepres...den id change the name from section leader to principal..wahhaha.. i wonder if there are auditions.. for the entry auditions in january i played L'elephant..i screwed it up big time.. if there is audition for sl..id play it again..ive improved so hell lot..they better see my effort man.. huizho.ng is running for presidency too..so is ming.tse..and there are the ppl like j.o-ann and yokey.uan..go home man.. if hu.izhong becomes president id be glad to be her vice pres..mingt.se can also after all she's supposed to hlep me with the combined concert. the other two no comments
