Singapore Aquathlon 2005
As the title suggests, this post is a report about today's Singapore Aquathlon which i took part in! Duh..
I entered this competition without much expectations actually..haha.. Never train never do anything how to compete man?? lol. The main reasons why i joined this competition was just so that
1) i could get a sun tan! im how fair now...damn gay..haha..
2) get some exercise/take a break/move abit man
3) gain experience points
4) get a gay "finisher medal"
5) SEE girls!! haha..
Did my usual few days of pre-race preparations, though didnt really follow the usual pre-race routines as stringently and rigidly as before, i wasnt aiming for a personal best anway cos i knew it wouldnt be..haha.. Quite slackk..slept the day before at like 12.30 liddat..haha..Oh i had a dream!! damn interesting i can still remember it..haha..about me assasinating people.. I was this hitman-student..haha went to some stadium with some others and started a fire-fight..den at the end i got caught by police duh.. Wa tell u damn realistic man. i actually felt scared and all..haha felt as if i had really been there done that liddat. The dream was so long! and u know when it gets so long u find yourself amidst your dream asking yourself this question " is this really a dream??".. Before i was taken to interrogation by the police i had even thought of saying "no no sir you got it wrong, this is a dream man its not real"..hahaha.. It was cool man..the plot was damn elaborate too la!! haha..
Alright back to the race. Anyway the race was conducted at Fort Siloso beach, and i took part in the adult sprint category, in which you are required to complete 800m worth of swim and run 5clicks. the swim was bleahh wat you expect sailors dont swim..haha my swimming ain't that fantastic either, in competitive terms.. I freestyled but slacked all the way..haha.was like dunno..looked like i was part of the back 30%.. but my mom told me i wasnt that far back..haha.. Ah dunno duncare, didnt enjoy it much anyway.. Anyway came up onto shore still feeling rather fresh, legs were fresh, cos i don't use my legs when i swim.. running leg was..eh.. could've pushed harder. once i came out of the water it was drizzling. after the transition it progressed to become a full-fledged storm, replete with lightning thunder, and err rain. Quite hard to run cos headwind was strong, and the rain drops were big painful and damn irritating. Anyway it cleared at about the 2.5 km mark..wasnt that bad..Den the sun came back again! I tink im burnt now man, before the race commenced the sun was already scorching. Thank God it rained man if not id just die of heat exhaustion running in the sweltering heat. Eh didnt get to tan my face enuf i think, should've faced the sun more man..darn.. nearing the end i underestimated the end point, didnt pick up pace so when i crossed the finishing line i still had energy left la..haha.. Saw a few ac people..ah sebastian koh was there too! oh there were also mgs girls..ah and this leads me to the hot topic..... THe girls were damn HOT!! either im damn deprived or they were damn hot..but i think its a combination of both..haha.. i won't be that perverted to describe everyone in detail, but yeah alot of girls there were just dressed to kill man..and being atheletes they have killer bodies too.. MAnnn at that point in time i wished i had a girlfriend man..haha..but following aditya and yongneng's advice, id just wait for the "right one" to come. I hope that the "one" would be an athete man..preferably..so that she can come faster and i dunneed wait so long!! HAHA! Alright pardon my madness man..haha.. k im feeling burnt out now..id go catch some winks..seeya and thanks for reading =)
